i posted this picture coz i like it. may reklamo ba? hehe. actually, for those who don't really know, this is a picture of the MRT, or what the francophones refer to as métro. it's something i use almost everyday going places. anyways, the highway you see on the left side, lower level, is EDSA, the place where three "people powers" have taken place. i hope there won't be a fourth one soon, you know with all the political clamor and all.

media trip to nueva vizcaya

this is a pict taken sometime around March 2004 atop a hill overlooking the lush yet tamed nueva vizcaya plains. in the pict we were actually facing the soon-to-be world's largest monument decdicated to national hero Jose Rizal (i think 150 ft. high...?). the big guy in black standing in the middle is the one in charge of building it (a former world bank official; an arab, ironically); to his left is former sen. raul roco; i'm the fourth from the far left (yes i do look kinda scary...so?!); i was actually a fifth wheel tagging along with the tv and print journalists who accompanied sen. roco in his cagayan valley campaign...
